#NashPod Facebook Group and Meetings – Code of Conduct
Welcome to our dynamic and fun-loving #NashPod community! Let’s keep it respectful, engaging, and helpful for everyone. Here are the rules to make sure our interactions remain friendly and constructive:
- Spread Positivity: We can all have different views, and that’s okay. Let’s engage in respectful debate and keep things civil.
- Embrace Humor and Openness: It’s okay to laugh and not take things too seriously. If you ask for feedback and receive something you don’t agree with, no need for defense. Accept it gracefully, or feel free to ignore it. After all, there’s no one single truth for podcasting!
- Share and Care: If you have useful insights, tips, or advice, don’t hesitate to share. We’re here to help each other grow. But please, try to limit any self-promotional resources.
- Posting Rules for “New Episode” / Live Stream: Post 99.9% of these within the “Free Form Friday” thread each week. The 0.1% exception includes stimulating podcasting-related content that sparks engaging discussion. We want to reduce noise/spam and messages that may feel self-promotional.
- No Repetitive Content: Let’s keep our content diverse and engaging. Avoid repetitive posts, even if they are podcasting-related. This includes “bumping” posts, please!
- Zero Tolerance for Doxxing and Bullying: Absolutely no sharing of personal info without consent or any form of bullying. Inflammatory content, personal threats, or demeaning comments are strictly off-limits.
- No Fake News: This community isn’t a place for conspiracy theories, fake health treatments, or false political information.
- No Fundraising Requests: Please refrain from posting “Go Fund Me” messages or links to money-raising sites. Let’s keep our focus on podcasting, please.
- Respect for All: Our community thrives on the diversity of its members. Respect each other’s race, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic.
- Promote Constructive Feedback: When providing feedback, try to make it constructive, useful, and respectful. We’re here to lift each other up.
- No Spamming: Let’s keep our group clean and relevant. Avoid off-topic content, spam, or promotional material unless approved by an admin (Clark and/or Faith).
- Reporting Violations: If you spot any conduct that violates our community rules, please report it to an admin promptly (Clark and/or Faith). Your vigilance helps us maintain a safe and welcoming space for all.
- Flexible Rules: Please note that these rules are subject to change as our community evolves. Your understanding and cooperation are appreciated.
Our goal is to foster a friendly, fun, and supportive environment for our #NashPod members. Thanks for being a part of this community and keeping it awesome!
